BIG SAND DRAW
Scope of Work
Spartan Engineering provided preliminary and detailed engineering design services for a large CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) project in West Central Wyoming. The project included development of the site design basis and preparation of a FEED Study, including Total Installed Cost (TIC) estimate for the facility.
The project included layout and design of production flow lines from over two dozen wells to a central processing facility. The processing facility included gas/oil/water separation, gas dehydration, gas compression, on-site power generation, oil and water storage. The produced gas is primarily CO2 and is combined with purchased CO2 for injection into the reservoir. The injection side of the project included layout and design of 19 injection flow lines and wellhead skids. Piping design, considers the unique properties and challenges of dense phase CO2 operating conditions.
The facility is mostly skid mounted for ease of construction and installed in buildings for cold weather operation.
